Sanden pensjonat was the first Lærdal company to receive the Eco-Lighthouse certificate. Eco-Lighthouse is a Norwegian certificate for achieving a sustainable and enviromentally sound running of businesses. The certifcate is endorsed by the Norwegian Ministry of Environment. Together with a consultant Sanden pensjonat has made an analysis of our work environment (health, environment and safety), purchase, waste, energy, transport etc, for our business. When complying with the defined standards for our line of business and having documented a system for continuus improvements of our results, we are qualified to receive a Eco-Lighthouse certificate. The mayor of Laerdal presented the certficate to Sanden pensjonat on 30th June 2011.
