Sanden pensjonat is situated in the centre of the old village of Lærdalsøyri. The building from the 1840-ies is newly renovated and has five double rooms. The family run pension, which is open all year, is on the historic main street of the preservation area of old Lærdalsøyri. The area has 161 wooden houses from the 19th century and a lot of small, well kept gardens.
